Venue at Birchwood Wedding: Nashville, TN

Sumter and Cody’s fall wedding at The Venue at Birchwood in Tennessee was a beautiful and peaceful event that perfectly captured the essence of the autumn season and their love so perfectly. The Venue at Birchwood is situated in the heart of Tennessee’s countryside, surrounded by acres of lush greenery and rolling hills. The natural beauty of the location is enhanced by the venue’s thoughtful design, which incorporates elements of traditional southern architecture, a romantic stone chapel all white inside, with modern amenities. I truly love shooting here – so grateful each time I am onsite!

Sumter and Cody each got ready that morning with friends and shared in sweet moments getting ready for their big day. Sumter wore a dress from LVD Bridal and Cody looked dapper in his tux from Jos. A. Bank. Both looked very comfortable and confident in their attire, which I always love to see on the big day! Hair and makeup team of 931 Beauty Co. glammed up the girls and gave them their finishing touches prior to putting on their dresses from Azazie

Private vows are something I have truly fallen to love more and more each time I witness it. It is so romantic, intimate, and allows for the couple to relax and be so present with each other and their declaration to one another. Sumter and Cody shared their private vows while holding hands, but not revealing their entire look to one another to leave an added layer of secrecy to the moment! A top fav of mine from the day for sure.

As guests arrived at the venue, they were greeted by the serene surroundings, and the warmth of the autumn sun. The ceremony itself took place in the chapel, with the couple exchanging vows beneath a beautiful wooden cross adorned with fall foliage and flowers. After I Do’s everyone headed outside to cocktail hour, catered by Wildberry Catering and geared up for the reception! One of the standout features of the venue is the reception hall, which was adorned with simple yet elegant decorations that complemented the natural beauty of the surroundings. The wooden tables were adorned with floral centerpieces in shades of red, orange, and gold, which perfectly matched the autumnal theme of the wedding.

Not only did these two share the most beautiful first dance, they didn’t leave a dry eye in the room when each of them danced with their parents! There is something so special about these moments I am able to capture for a lifetime, I am so grateful for that!

When it comes to your wedding day. I find it so important to reflect on what you truly wish to embrace, and let go of the other worries and wishes of others as best you can. Love is the reason everyone gathers, and what everyone hopes to remember from your big day. Sumter and Cody’s fall wedding was so sweet and lovely, I hope to be back photographing at The Venue at Birchwood real soon!
