This Autocamp, Cape Cod, Elopement quite literally knocked me on my feet with the attention to detail, perfect location, intimate energy and love in the air. Axel and Shaunna decided to elope at Autocamp Cape Cod, which is a luxury airstream camping resort near Falmouth and Woods Hole, in Massachusetts. Each moment of the day had meaning to the couple, from utilizing their favorite earth tones, writing and reading their own vows, and wearing attire that felt true to their own styles. There is something so unspoken to me about an elopement, you truly get to design the day with just the two of you in mind.
While working on their timeline for the day, I noticed that they wanted to spend the morning getting ready together like they do at home on any other day! She tied his tie, he zipped her dress, and they even put on their shoes together. I found this so romantic and thoughtful, especially since elopements tend to “break the rules” a bit as far as tradition goes. (It even went viral on Tiktok! Watch it HERE!) Their Autocamp, Cape Cod elopement was a first for the resort, and hopefully inspires others to do as they wish when it comes to getting married. After getting dressed and ready in their airstream we went out to their boho ceremony space, which was decked out in floral from ninety two design co, where they exchanged vows on their front patio. They took their time speaking their love to one another, and truly had no worries in the world.
Once the ceremony was completed, we took a stroll around the airstream for photos. The newlywed bliss was in the air and it brought me to tears how in love and happy they were together. Shaunna and Axel had curated a beautiful tablescape with dried floral, custom menus, fringed charger plates and the most lovely gold china. Every detail was in tune with their overall vibe of the day! Including a lounge area that you only see in magazines provided by Refined Rentals LLC. From start to finish their elopement was a dream. When you truly prioritize your own wishes and wants when it comes to your big day, the end result will be nothing short of magic. Congratulations to you two!
