Beau Chavel Spring Wedding

This spring wedding at Beau Chavel was one of the most stunning spring weddings I’ve had the opportunity to capture this year. The beautiful wedding venue, The Beau Chavel in Wartrace, is located in the small town of Wartrace, in Bedford County, Tennessee. The town is even listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers tons of beautiful scenery. Beau Chavel sits on 78 acres of farmland that offers stunning views of rolling hills and sunsets. It even has a renovated 1800’s log farmhouse where the couple can get ready on their wedding day, and then tie the knot at the ceremony site behind the home, overlooking the rolling hills. The reception area is gorgeous with huge open windows looking over the land, a pond for photo opportunities, tons of fields and gardens with the most beautiful flowers, and even some horses can be found on-site! I absolutely fell in love with the rustic yet elegant country vibe that made the perfect setting for their wedding day!

Hannah + Hank’s love story started in college, where they met through mutual friends. They quickly fell in love and had a truly deep and unique connection right from the start. They understood each other on a level that no one else really did. Hank feels that Hannah always loves him for who he is. She accepted him for all of the perks as well as the flaws since the beginning, and always shows him consistent and unconditional love. Hank shared with me that Hannah has such a big heart, and is one of the most kind-hearted, and gentle souls he’s ever met. (How sweet?!) They are definitely a perfect match! Hannah loves that Hank accepts her for her and she feels that she can always be her truest self when he is around thus bringing them that much closer together. A real, kind, and genuine love means two people willing to see the good and the ugly in each other, accept each other’s pasts, and support each other’s futures, and Hank & Hannah showed each other just that.

The Beau Chavel Spring Wedding started out with both the bride + groom getting ready with their own wedding parties. Hannah looked absolutely stunning in the White Room Bridals dress. It was just gorgeous! When it was time, We headed out front for their first look and it was such an intimate moment for Hannah + Hank. They shared personal letters and gifts, and it really started to hit them that they were about to get married!

The ceremony was held outside with beautiful homestead-like views. Hannah had the prettiest bouquet and the venue was decorated with the most stunning florals from Something Borrowed Blooms, and they really set the whole tone for the wedding. Hannah and Hank promised forever in front of their closest family and friends. Post-wedding ceremony, everyone headed to the reception where we gathered to welcome the newlyweds. The reception was decorated perfectly by Ivy and Grace Decor. One of my favorite features was the cocktail bar and charcuterie board platters that were set up on old rustic barrels. And the cake was blue and the so cute!! Later, I was able to sneak Hannah + Hank out for the most amazing sunset photos. We even had the opportunity to shoot some photos with the horses on the farm which Hannah was so excited for! It felt like a fairytale watching them dance, twirl, laugh, and kiss in their gorgeous attire, with the scenery surrounding them… I was speechless! The rest of the night was spent celebrating, laughing, and making memories of a lifetime!

The entire day was a reminder of just how much I love photographing weddings. There is so much love and so much light that I feel absolutely honored to have the huge responsibility of capturing their story. I hope they can look back at one of the most memorable days of their lives and feel like they are right back, reliving it forever!
